Agent that surfaces invoice fraud and discrepancies
Challenge
Accounting teams spend a significant amount of time verifying or managing the verification of invoices. With the advent of LLMs invoice fraud is harder than ever to detect.
Solution
leveraged AI agents to receive invoices, extract metadata, match to associated vendors, requests, POs, and contracts, and surface discrepancies
Impact
AI Invoice Match leads to a reduction in AP invoice review time from hours to minutes.

Challenge
Procurement and finance data can be hard to access when it's spread across multiple locations throughout the platform
Solution
Ask Tropic is an AI Assistant that can be accessed from anywhere in the platform so users can get answers immmediately without interupting their flow
Impact
Tropic customers save hours with Ask Tropic by reducing manual procurment tasks by up to 50%, improve negotiation saving by up to 20% and maintain tighter procurement controls.
AI Data Mapping
AI tool that automatically maps integrated data into centralized source
Challenge
Mapping data from multiple integrations was a tedious process that required users to manually map vendors and products to their corresponding entities in Tropic. This cumbersome task led to poor adoption and incomplete data mapping, which ultimately resulted in incomplete spend and IT reporting.
Solution
Implemented an AI tool that acts as a middle layer agent between various integrations. When new data is received, it performs RAG operations to gather additional context and automatically maps it to existing vendors or entities in Tropic.
Impact
Increased the averaged mappped vendor rates from 40% to 80%, dramatically reducing manual work and ensuring more complete data integration across all connected sources.
